Accucold's Pharma-Vac Performance Series introduces upright freezers purpose-built for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications, supporting CDC/VFC guidelines.
The AFZ1PV is a compact 1.4 cu.ft. all-freezer with a temperature range of -30 to -10 degrees Celsius, ideal for storing vaccines and pharmaceuticals.
The externally located microprocessor temperature controller helps minimize door openings, protecting stored contents from ambient temperature changes. A buffered temperature probe, encased in a glycol-filled bottle, simulates stored product temperature, while an additional sensor monitors air temperature for superior control.
The current and min/max temperature display, accurate to the nearest tenth of a degree, is viewable in Celsius or Fahrenheit.This model includes audible and visual alarms for temperature fluctuations, power failures, door status, and sensor failure. Remote alarm contacts and a probe port allow for additional monitoring devices.
The hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug enhances safety in high-traffic areas. Inside, the adjustable wire shelves can be positioned at 1/2" increments, while static manual defrost cooling ensures stable temperatures. LED internal lighting with an on/off switch adds visibility.
The AFZ1PV features a factory-installed antimicrobial handle powder-coated with silver ions to reduce germ spread. The self-closing, user-reversible door provides security with a factory-installed lock and magnetic gaskets for a positive seal.Designed with energy-efficient hydrocarbon refrigerant, the AFZ1PV is Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX compatible, offering a reliable solution for vaccine storage.
